Virgo season is here asking us to go over the particulars and to spend some time in contemplation.
The Virgo-Pisces polarity is activated for this month's lunation and service is the theme. Virgo rules physical health, routine and self-care, while Pisces relates to mental health, intuition and empathy for others.
⌘ PROMPT - Find the balance between subconscious needs and recognise hidden desires while creating order and routine in the day to day.
❍︎ Full moon in Pisces - 31st of August
The sun is amped by Saturn during this full moon; our emotions (sometimes lofty or overwhelming with Pisces influence) will be given form and structure. Real world problems could feel unbearable - use the Pisces energy to flip perspective and Virgo to create a backup plan. This full moon is the culmination of the new moon that occurred earlier this year at the start of March. What were you doing then? Is there a pattern that is wrapping up?
๏ New moon in Virgo - 15th of September
The new moon in Virgo can be slated for organisation and practical thinking. New moons are for new projects, focus on goals that require a meticulous eye or some discernment. Physical health is in the spotlight and daily routines can take hold with the Virgo + new moon energy. Test it out - what can be achieved over the month? Since Virgo's ruler (Mercury) will be retrograde and Neptune will be opposite in Pisces think of this energy as buying you time on big decisions, and amped for chipping away at something that requires steadfast commitment.

We've got a new section on the site. In the spirit of contemplation, read more about this project here and the philosophy behind why we focus on the moon here.

✿.。.:* Love under the microscope - Venus is in Retrograde, the Sun is in Virgo; what are you learning about relationships? Whippy made this very Virgo relationship review after the culmination of a long distance romance that didn't make the cut. Applying an analytical eye to patterns, reoccurring feels and outcomes could just be the salve for this love retrograde (ending on Sept 4 by the way).
*•.¸,¤°A new perspective could be around the corner - Saturn's placement in Pisces is here for the long haul until February 2025. The intangible and sometimes nebulous will find some form. Take the opportunity to look at things in the cold light of day this month with the Pisces full moon. Perhaps sobering, but a cool opportunity to play our strengths.Think of Parker Posey's character Mary in Party Girl (1995) (who I'm sure was a Virgo) - party planning started falling flat for her when she couldn't pay rent and the haunting presence of Rene, an older club promoter, began to dampen the vibe. Eventually her uber-organisational skills find a home at the library - queue her happily ever after.
